**Job Description**
The person in this position is responsible for writing technical copy for various operation and maintenance manuals and technical publications.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Prepare written text and coordinate the layout and organization of manuals and other documents according to prepared outlines and specifications.
* Research available technical data, which includes drawings, design reports, equipment and test specifications.
* Work with engineers and other technical personnel to clarify document contents.
**Qualifications**
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 2 years of related experience.
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires experience with work-processing applications and publishing tools. Requires solid knowledge of company product lines and document structures.
