Information Analyst III - Internal Audit Data Analytics - TD Bank US (Lexington, SC) in Columbia, South Carolina For Sale
The Information Analyst is primarily responsible for the design and development of risk based analytics for the Internal Audit department. The Information Analyst will develop complex analytics and automated routines across key bank systems and multiple lines of business.
Delivers on all aspects of research, analysis, design, support, and testing
Reviews data flow to improve timeliness and quality of information received
May assist in automating interface with data-source areas
May act as primary contact with technology to ensure sufficient hardware and software is in place to support information needs and the security of the data is well protected
Create "risk intelligent" dashboards for use in audit planning and continuous monitoring of business process trends.
Conduct data driven control tests against full populations of raw data acquired from the business.
Extraction of risk populations for use in judgmental sampling and aggregation into risk indicators.
Creation of Ad-Hoc mashups in support of Audits.
Interface with IT and Operational support teams, and 2nd line analytics functions to acquire and understand data, mappings and data lineage flows.
Interface with 2nd line oversight and analytics functions to promote and foster a common data related knowledge base. Identify issues and process improvement opportunities in relation to the data supporting the business process. Required Skills Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field
5 + years prior experience in a data analyst role.
Proficiency in at least one analytic scripting language SAS, R, ACL.
Proficiency with at least one data visualization tool Qlikview, Tableau, Spotfire, Microsoft BI (Tableau Preferable).
Minimum of 2 yrs. Experience with SQL and relational database structures
Proficiency with Microsoft office tools to include advanced use of VBA and Macro functionality. Ability to build strong, collaborative business and technical relationships as well as other business partners
Demonstrated project management skills with ability to develop, facilitate and bring to successful conclusion
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with ability to translate information so that users can effectively understand and make meaningful informed decisions
Additional desired skills
Mainframe experience desirable JCL, EZ-trieve.
Experience with UNIX operating systems desirable.
Experience with Active Directory structures and PowerShell scripting desirable.
Experience with Datamodeling and ETL tools such as Informatica.
Data mining Experience Predictive analytic techniques, unstructured data analysis Statistical/Quantitative methods.
