Helpdesk Specialist - Incident Management - (Columbia) in Columbia, South Carolina For Sale

Join a growing team within an enterprise IT environment! ettain group has an immediate need for a Helpdesk Specialist with a large healthcare client in Columbia, SC. This contractor will be required to work on-site 40 hours/week, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM OR 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM. Please review the responsibilities and requirements, and apply if qualified! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Monitor break fix incident and service request tickets, oversee incident management process and goals. * Transfer tickets to the correct Systems Support area. * Communicate and coordinate with the Systems Supports areas to ensure progress toward incident resolution and service request fulfillment. * Complete the incident management notification process for high impact incidents. * Escalation on incidents needing attention. Champion incident management process adherence. * Troubleshoot and restore technical service and equipment problems by analyzing symptoms using documented processes. * Complete customer requests and provide guidance in resolution of application, hardware, and software problems. * Determine business impact of requests and escalate to higher-level professionals when necessary. * Proactively monitor various systems to catch problems before they become outages and to ensure the health and availability of systems, servers, network, etc. * Analyze data to gain a better understanding of business impact. * Conduct a gap analysis to respond to and align with customer business needs.
