xxxxxxxx - Job Descriptions: This position is a High level Sales position, candidate should be quite familiar with plastic compounds & history of Plastic Compound Sales JOB SUMMARY: Develop and cultivate sales through Distributors. Manage key accounts within the plastics industry to grow our market share and meet or exceed annual budget. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: × Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach × Analyzes the markets potential and determines the value of existing and potential customers value to the organization. × Makes telephone calls and sends samples to existing and prospective customers. × Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets × Maintains sales volume, and product mix by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors. × Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services. × Develop a business plan to identify new opportunities. Track all new and existing opportunities in CRM tool. × Communicate with dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business × Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products. × Develop annual sales goals and objectives; identify pathway towards achievement. × Provide exceptional customer service and expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints. × Direct Customer Service Associate to maintain/review accounts receivables to resolve credit issues. × Work with Product Manager to insure adequate inventories are available to maintain customers satisfaction. × Pursue opportunities unique to each assigned account in terms of marketing, sales & product. × Responsible for setting of and deliverance of key accounts and measuring for efficiency and effectiveness Required Experience: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: × 7-9 Years progressive experience with Sales and Compounded plastic material × Established ability at effectively implementing sales and marketing strategies. × Working expertise of Microsoft Office products × Proven track record of new business development, account manager of existing business and knowledge and experience in sales and marketing of polymers EDUCATION: Marketing Degree KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: × Attention to detail and accuracy × Professionalism, interpersonal skills and good communication × Sales and knowledge of Compounded products × Problem solving & Decision making skills × Presentation, prospecting and closing skills. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel crouch, or crawl.
