Cash Applications Associate Facility: Lexington Medical Center, West Columbia Department: Patient Financial Services-Cash Apps Schedule: Full time Shift: Day Shift Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Job Details: Basic Functions:** Receives and records payments for hospital services rendered: is responsible for balancing daily receipts and preparing bank deposits.** Works closely within department to assist and assure accuracy of receipts and adjustments.** Responsible for daily balancing for all hospital and CMC posting. ** Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma Personal computer experience required, to include, spreadsheets, word processing, etc. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to understand both written and oral instructions.************************************************** Minimum typing of 40 wpm Must have knowledge of insurance EOB's Medicare procedural knowledge required ** Preferred Qualifications College Degree in Business or Finance or some completion of related college coursework preferred 2+ years healthcare financial experience
