Auto Requisition ID xxxxBR Job Title Associate Consultant Position Summary * Through effective, professional customer relationship management, consult with customers to understand how CPSS' services may identify and address their business problems/opportunities. * Provide research, analysis and leadership on individual and team work assignments, making decisions independently with guidance from manager. * Using in-depth analysis, recommend creative and effective solutions to a department's or functional area's business problems or opportunities. * May take the lead on small projects within business/functional area and provide guidance to other analysts when performing the role of project lead. * Will require travel as needed to customer location. Required Education * Bachelor's degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, MIS, Operations Management (including Industrial Management and Global Supply Chain), Math or Science. * Orfour years of related work experience (ex. organizational development, business analysis) and process improvement experience (ex. Six Sigma and re-engineering). Required Work Experience * Process improvement experience. Required Skills and Abilities * Demonstrated application techniques to identify key drivers/measures of success for business. * Demonstrated knowledge in concepts of organizational development and business analysis. * Demonstrated knowledge in process improvement (ex. six sigma and re-engineering). * Demonstrated knowledge in corporate/strategic planning and financial analysis. * Demonstrated knowledge in business systems analysis and business development. * Demonstrated ability to lead a team and apply concepts of project planning, organization and management. * Ability to manage relationships with clients in consulting/professional services environment. * Ability to identify client needs and ensure needs are met with products/services offered. * Ability to work independently and with a team and effectively prioritize. * Ability to work with ambiguity and make sound decisions. * Exceptional investigative/research, customer service and organizational skills. * Good judgment and diplomacy. * Effective communication and listening skills with colleagues and customers. * Demonstrated ability to create and present findings and recommendations to customers. * Ability to persuade, negotiate or influence others. * Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion. * Ability to use standard office equipment. * Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or other word processing/spreadsheet software skills. * Ability to get PAHM certification within one year of hire.
