National Property Management Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for one of our area apartment communities. The successful candidate must be professional, have the ability to multi:task, manage time effectively, and enjoy working in a fast:paced environment. This position will supervise a maintenance staff and will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling of all facets of apartment maintenance including timely completion of service requests, completion of make readies, scheduling of projects, and overseeing any interior renovation programs.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
Monitor and direct scheduling of vendors
Track inventory for repairs and maintenance
Troubleshoot, repair and maintain preventative maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire and life:safety systems
Maintain compliance with company policies and safe work practices
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years industry experience (300 units or more)
HVAC/EPA certified
Must be proficient in all areas of apartment maintenance to include plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, locks, appliances, HVAC and life safety equipment.
Strong written/oral communication skills.
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
Maintain a valid Drivers License and be available for emergency call duties.
Must be able to function effectively in a customer service environment.
