Job Description: Account Manager (Sales) Reports into Director, Client Development   The Team The Client Development team at Rakuten LinkShare focuses on new customer acquisition for the affiliate marketing and lead generation networks. They work with top e-commerce businesses to enable them to grow online sales and acquire new customers.       Join the sales team of the #1 Ranked Affiliate Network.  Rakuten LinkShare has been leading the affiliate industry for over 16 years and continues to innovate as part of the Rakuten Global Network.    You Will: Seek out and build relationships with industry contacts for new business opportunities Produce a high volume of sales related activity, (cold calls, presentations, proposals) Represent Rakuten LinkShare at trade shows, seminars  and industry events Formulate and present strategic presentations Sell major new accounts in timely sales cycle while maintaining an active pipeline Meet and exceed all sales and revenue targets  Requirements: 3 years of online marketing experience. Must be knowledgeable on the industry and be able to keep up with the emerging trends. 4 years of outside selling experience Experience selling software solutions to CMO or VP of Marketing at Fortune 500 companies Proven record of success in a consultative selling environment Proven record of generating new revenue and exceeding sales quota Excellent negotiation and closing skills Bachelor’s Degree
