30% Provide support for user and system problems, troubleshooting for one or more monitoring tools. Escalates issues for resolution when necessary. Participate in planning and execution of disaster recovery procedures.
30% Participate in development and implementation activities for monitoring applications. Evaluate new tools, policies, and procedures. Provide design recommendations for new and existing tools.
20% Work with Application Owners to identify business requirements for monitoring applications. Recommend monitoring tools needed to achieve the desired solution for the client.
20% Provide mentoring and guidance to less-experienced team members in supporting the monitoring solutions.
Bachelors degree in Comp Sci, IS, or job related field OR extra 4 yrs job related work exp OR 4 years of combined education & experience Required
IT work experience including technical support and/or client relations Required 4 years
Coding experience in Java, C++, or Perl Required
Understanding of servers, networks, IP's Required
