This position is responsible for coordinating the planning and successful implementation of Spirax Supply Companies, Engineered Services (ESG), Engineered Solutions (ESD), and core mechanical products project activities for OPC Customers. This position effectively aligns the organization to manage constraints to successfully deliver the value on OPC solutions/projects. It also evaluates overall project activities and business processes to facilitate a continuous improvement culture of managing projects to support internal and external customer delight in alignment with the Customer First Strategy.
The essential responsibilities for this role include:
*Develops business processes and tools to successfully manage OPC projects for Spirax Group Company Orders, Engineered Services Group, Core Mechanical products and Engineered Systems Division from project discovery to quote and final delivery; inclusive of documentation requirements and processes
*Leads project kickoff planning sessions with sales, services, supply units and operations as well as post project review sessions with sales, services, customers, supply units and operations
*Actively participates in Sales and Operations Planning activities to align the organization for successful value delivery for OPC projects
*Oversees the planning, implementation and tracking of Group Supply Company Orders, Engineered Services Group, Core Mechanical and Engineered Systems Division projects on a daily basis and measures performance for on time to customer
request and lead:time improvements
*Conducts post project reviews and initiates corrective actions thru Plan Do
Check Act reviews
*Liaises with sales to ensure successful prioritization and implementation of
OPC projects. Also liaises with Group Supply Companies, Engineered Services Group order entry, optimization specialist, Engineered Systems Division order management and order conversion teams to ensure projects are progressed through suppliers and/or manufacturing and through to shipment to customer
*Liaises with leadership to enhance organizational execution with on:going process standardization and development of standard operating procedures.
*Prepares and distributes daily, weekly and monthly reports on project management activities, KPI metrics and progress
Experience/Education Requirements:
*Bachelors degree in Engineering, or Business Administration
*Minimum of 5 years experience in planning and project management
*Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or equivalent project management software, spreadsheets, word processing and presentations.
*PMI Certification is preferred/required.
