UPDATE! I was heartworm positive when I first came here, but now I have been treated and ready to go! My name is PJ and I have a special story. For the first few years of my life, several of my doggie friends are I were not living in the best conditions...Our owner got overwhelmed with having so many of us so he couldn't properly take care of us. PAWMETTO LIFELINE stepped in and saved five of us and we couldn't be happier! When I first got here to the shelter I was VERY frightened and I did not like the crate, since I have never been in one.
